2.9 GHz. Athlon II X3 435, which is apparently pretty decent for OC'ing. Would be nice to get something around 3.5 for certain Wii/PS2 titles to run super smoothly, but that's about it.

And chill out, guys and gals. I'm sure Shardnax didn't mean anything bad by it.

Hey I heard in some X3s you can unlock the 4th core, is that possible with yours? or it may be worth looking into...

EDIT: I'm confused now, is it a tri-core or not?

I don't read anybody's blogs but that doesn't mean I don't love every member here. I just don't read blogs.

Yeah, it's tri-core. I heard about unlocking, but didn't do any research on it yet.

Yeah some of them were just 4 core Athlons with the 4th core disabled, and it can be re-enabled. Not sure of the specifics though.

I think PCSX2 needs some major overhauling if a processor well beyond the power of the PS2 can't get full speed .

Can't blame you. Many blogs are like "well guys, I took a shit today. Isn't that peculiar."

I was thinking of starting one along those lines actually. Can't believe I've been beaten to it!
