You can buy clone systems online or at a retro-focused gaming store. They'll play all the cartridge-based Sega games. Or you can get the one that does the same for Nintendo.

Oh fuck, I completely forgot I arranged to go to an old friend's tonight. My old friend actually came to my house and everything but I'm feeling particularly shitty today for no reason and just wanted to curl up in bed not go and get shit faced. :/

That's the problem, sadly. I do have a 4th gen but I live in a rural area where there isn't much in the way of wi-fi coverage if I'm out and about. I do need a mobile phone otherwise I'd be happy just using the iTouch.

3G is really good when it works, T-Mobile's 3G is very unreliable I've found, constantly times out. I guess it's because I got 6 months free 3G access though, it'd probably be a completely different story if I were paying for it.

Verizon, clearly. Wait, do they have Verizon in the Old World?

I'm hoping Tesco Mobile will have decent coverage here. I've always been alright with O2 phones and Tesco actually uses O2's network apparently. Fuck knows how they manage to do that and still be cheaper than O2, but if it means I can afford a decent phone I'm not complaining.

Although most of those clones don't have compatibility with certain special mappers/chipsets.
