I thought about getting something that would let me play GBA games when I had a DS with a GBA slot, but there was never really anything I wanted to play. And whilst my computer can't seem to handle DS emulators, it handles GB emulators just fine.

Which reminds me that we were playing Super Mario Bros. and Castlevania on my netbook+TV the other night. I love you so much for helping me pick out this netbook. My sister actually ordered one similar to it the other day.

Tan: cleanup mode complete, self cleaning measures complete, now beginning standby mode.

This isn't about to spiral into another one of those "let's post random OST music" sessions, is it?

Because I totally forgot to bring ammunition.

I hope not, I got sleep to do.

Though we should totally keep this theme.

Oh, did you get an XL? Love the bigger screens, but hate needing to replace the Acekard just to play GBA.

    Yes, yes, I know. I'm amazing. /flex

Oh dear. I must be logged into YouTube on my computer at dad's (which my older brother has been using for the past few weeks since he somehow managed to break the laptop he was using). #1 suggested video for me is Girls' Generation - Gee.

I did. I updated AKAIO for my little brother last week, and used his DS lite to make sure everything was working properly in a couple of newly downloaded games. The screens looked so tiny, it was weird.

Hawt. But now I'll never be able to forget your discussion of braids in Retro. Ew.

Then I usually bring them home, spend about half an hour getting the perfect edge on them, give them a nice cleaning, and take them back to work to get fucked up again. Usually happens about once every three months.

Also, I'm the "designate" in my department, so the majority of my days is spent doing little bits of work here and there, and helping out with paperwork/running the shop. I have to put up the proper "appearance" for how to manage time, even though I'm just a part-time cutter getting dick all for hours, and they seem to expect that they can bring me in for two days a week, and on my first day back after a week off, I'll know what's happened in the last seven days enough to make an appropriate order, adjust quantities of what's coming in on the computer, and run the show like I know what the fuck I'm doing.

    Fucking hate my store.

    Can't wait to quit.

... my steak knife is pretty sexy, though.
Im getting out of that shit this summer. Instead, Ill be stocking/ordering dairy/frozen. Ill have a larger walk-in cooler to myself and less clean-up.
Mostly because the meat dept manager is an incompetent twat.
Thats just half of my week though. The rest will be spent interning at the Library under the IT Director; deploying Windows 7 to all of the machines, hardware upgrades, etc.

I like my job, but I hate my store. If my colleagues were actually capable of seeing their jobs beyond "I'm a meat cutter, all I have to do is cut meat" and "I'm a wrapper, all I have to do is wrap," then it wouldn't be so bad. But everyone has a stick up their ass, and I get the feeling that if I don't leave the department soon, I'm going to end up killing somebody. I like my boss, but he doesn't have enough of a backbone for dealing with these guys -- we've got one guy who should have been terminated five times over by now, but he's still there for some gawdawful reason.

That change sounds pretty good, though. I know the grocery guys who do that for my store can get pretty slammed sometimes, but as long as you keep shit organized and don't let it fall behind, and actually do a consistent job with your ordering, it's not a difficult task.

Also, I just watched a clip of all of the inconsistencies with the reffing for the Canucks v. Blackhawks game I watched last night... and those refs need to be shot. I knew they weren't making some calls that they should have, but chocked it up to "well, you don't always catch everything." But after watching a five minute clip where it is obviously that they heavily favoured the Blackhawks (or, at least, let them get away with much more serious infractions than they let the Canucks get away with), it's kind of mind boggling. O_o...

    Okay. Enough hockey talk.

Drag, I see you repped me for the song, but have you seen the series? If not, you should watch it. It's absolutely fucking amazing. Well, as long as you go in expecting it to be absolutely absurd and completely not appropriate for... well, anyone.

I think I watched a little bit of it, but not much. I know Ivolt and Ray were talking about it for a while, though, and it's been on my list of series to watch for a couple of months now. Just... haven't gotten around to it.

Anime researched. Links bookmarked. I think it's time for me to finally tear myself away from my computer and get the PS3 up and running.

I hope you all have a lovely night and such.
