Well, you can't see 3D unless it's in person. So no doubt Link will pop out, or the horse, and it'll like there's a lot of depth in the game...

If by "same old shit" you mean looks like the old Mortal Kombat games, then yes, that's 99% of the reason to buy it. The old ones were awesome and this one's just like them.
