I remember when GFWL totally wiped my save file of SF4 when I reinstalled it after a few months of not playing. If I hadn't made a backup of the necessary files, I would've lost everything.
The same thing happened with GTA4. Lost all my saves.
Then there was that one time when it just wouldn't let me log the fuck in. And you can't save or play online without being logged in.
There's also the "GFWL update loop", which drives people mad. Google it if you're interested.

Game 6 of Canucks v. Blackhawks starts in about 30 minutes.
Games 1-3 were won fairly handily by the Canucks.
Game 4 was a terrible, terrible game for them, with a 7-2 win for the Blackhawks.
Game 5 was a horrendous game, with a 5-0 win for the Blackhawks.
They better fucking pull this one out of the bag. With defense pretty much just standing at the line, hardly anyone delivering any hits, our top line doing dick all, and Luongo's confidence pretty much rattled beyond belief, they really need to get their shit together. The Blackhawks, in spite just barely squeaking into the Playoffs at the last possible chance, are making a laughingstock out of the #1 placed team in the league. Pretty much the entire series has shifted since the Torres hit on Seabrook in Game #3. It has gave the Blackhawks something to rally behind, and they have consistently been scoring goals ever since, even with Seabrook out of the lineup the last two games with a concussion.
They had better pull this out of their ass. They only need to win one.
