Very well. What manner of weapon shall we settle this dispute with? Or perhaps a pugilistic bout is in order?
I will defend my honor to the death. MY GOOD NAME HAS BEEN SULLIED.
Normally that would have disgusted me. But now, thanks to the internet, it's hilarious!![]()
Seriously though, who the fuck does that?
"Oh look, you've been mortally injured. I guess I should call an ambulance but first let me take a couple of snaps for the internet. Hey, do you think you could stop writhing around in pain for maybe two seconds please? The autofocus on this thing is appalling."
And again I find myself weeping for humanity.
In all seriousness, it's a little bit sad how much the internet has desensitised me to shocking images and videos.I mean it's still disgusting, but I'm rarely surprised anymore, nor particularly shocked or offended. I just roll my eyes, chalk it up as another 'oh internet...' moment, and go on with my life. When it probably ought to be the sort of stuff that haunts you weeks or even months afterwards. The internet has definitely toughened up both my mind and my stomach. Though I couldn't tell you whether that's a good thing or not.

I think it's inevitable nowadays. People record everything. Anything that seems like it might be even remotely interesting gets videotaped. It's to the point where it's just an automatic reaction I think.
I think humanity is pretty much doomed at this point anyways though. Oh well, we had a pretty good run.![]()
I know what you mean. Shock images that probably would have traumatized me a few years ago are like childs play now. I still haven't been able to decide if that's a good thing or not either, although something tells me it probably leans towards the latter.
I still have nightmares. Also, the video games song Ivolt likes to post.![]()
