I don't know much about Hockey or Basketball teams, particularly in Chicago and Vancouver, but I do know your team sucks.
Vancouver ranked first in the league this year. Chicago ranked 8th in the Western Conference, 13th in the league.
Vancouver does have a very good defense, and they are leading the series 3 games to none, they've just... relaxed a bit too much in this game. Which has led to their demise. Although there is still the third period to go through, though I doubt Vancouver is going to score enough in the 3rd to win, or even to tie and win in overtime.
