    , indeed.

    Er...let me rephrase that.

That's kind of hilarious. I'm sort of sad I wasn't around to point and laugh.

I'll keep mine crossed, too, although that probably won't help much with actually getting the needle in and the catheter secured.

It depends on what I'm giving through the IV, of course.

I think most people might start to suspect that something is amiss when their skin starts sloughing off.

    Harsh toke, dude...

In other news, I'm contemplating going back to school. Either going to actual classes in a year or so, or seeing if I can get signed up for online courses.

When it comes to taking blood there is a knack to it or so I'm told, missing means a fair amount of pain for the person involved so I doubt putting in an IV would be much different.

Some of my skirts are pretty short, but I don't think any of them are mini. A little above knee height~ I like that sort of length best.
    What if it is?

Also, that was not one of my shining moments. Or the time it took us 45 minutes to cross two lanes of traffic because the lights wwwwaaaayyyy in the distance might be cars.

My teenage years were not my shining moments.

But at the same time, imagine the stories they could tell!

"I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND GOT BRAND NEW SKIN!"
"... dude, that's like... muscle and tissue and shit...!"
    "... ohfuckitburnssogood..."

I'm not sure I'd call it "grossly" so much as "is it supposed to swell up like that?"

I'd rather take blood any day. Then you can go straight for the antecubital space, instead of having to dig around in someone's forearm a few times first.

I would worry, but around here a black person stands out like... a black person.

I've had a couple of times when they were taking blood and missed a few times. Not necessarily "painful," but definitely very uncomfortable.

My hand was like, twice as big as a normal hand is supposed to look. It was actually really awesome.
