It's puzzling, to be sure. I'm actually a bit curious if there's any way of restoring the account via a bit of database hackery.. Probably not worth the trouble, though.

You guys that were here in 2001 or earlier are crazy. I had no broadband or even an internet connection at all until 2006.

I know, seriously. I wish I had been smart enough to even have a basic understanding of the internet back then. I was... 12 at the time.

Man, it's depressing when old people think that young people have no idea about popular culture from before 2000.

I was helping mummy dearest borrow chairs and tables from the local VFW, and the commander guy said I looked like George Harrison, and then said "You probably don't know who that is..." and went on to explain who the Beatles were.

I had crappy internet back then, but that was enough for my NES and SNES games!

I was 15 when I arrived, and good God you could tell. I was such an arse, I'm glad my old posts were lost in the rollback.

Yeah, I think Cyber was in his mid-twenties when I first became active back in the day. I registered in 2002, and Sage was here before I was. I know it was in 2001, though, that he registered, but probably early 2001. Also, when you left, I'm fairly certain you had changed your name to "Christopher Time" by that point. But I may be mistaken.

I'm not entirely certain, but I think when you left you called out Cyber for being an idiot. And I think that he went on a massive "delete all annoying members!!" spree and completely removed your account. I'm sure if we dug around we could find an existing post, though. But it won't have any profile information attached to it (I've seen a few of those floating around in the really old posts. Check really old stuff in Free For All).

Okay. Clean up is done. Gotta go pick up Goober. Later all.

I believe I got online around the middle of 1993 or so.
    AOL version 1.5

Laugh all you want. It was the only way to get online in my area.

Found one. Another little note was that at that time, it looks like your account was "Christopher Time".

I think I was technically "here" in 2000 or 2001, but that was only the main site. I didn't show up "here" here until 2003. I do remember this atrocious blue-on-black color scheme for some reason, though.

I used that name a feeeeew times, but I don't think I ever kept it officially. Sage was always my name everywhere for many, many years.. I eventually adopted "Krisan Thyme" as a result of wanting something more akin to a name and less an obscure title. Funnies though that you remember it.
