What is the most overrated game you've ever played?

I thought RE4 was the best out of the whole series, handles alot better, controls are alot better, then again I haven't played RE5 yet.

You know, next time someone starts a thread with 'overrated game', people should refrain from posting about how little they care about FF because it's 'overrated', it's a redundant subject, and I swear that if I started deleting posts saying: "FF7 IS SOOOOOOOO OVERRATED" or the like, we would end up with three or four posts.

Really. Not even denying the Holocaust creates that amount of arguing. You don't like FF7 and you think it's shit? Fine, you're not the first or the last one who will say that, how about some variety for a change?

FF7 is epic. all them "rpg connoisseurs" can stuff it. the music was great. the atmosphere was captivating. the story was great. perhaps a tad slow moving at times. but still a great game worthy of the praise it gets.

now what is overrated? just about everything out for the ps3 and 360. except some of the downloadables.

most overrated games i played is Final Fantasy, Halo and the Shin Megami Tensei series , they are just not fun, well FF 6 and 9 were.

I agree that shooters on PS3 and 360 are overrated, won't say EVERY one, but I do agree to a point.

I personally have a shitty time with some shooters on PS3, for instance, CoD Black Ops, I get my ass handed to me online, you get these fuckers that get 25 kills, I get maybe 6. I guess I should just stick to the shooters on the PC.

Yeah those are badass games on the PC. I also like Half-Life, Quake (the whole series), Wolf 3D, Soldier of Fortune, Red Faction, Unreal Tournament, and UT2004, and there are many many more awesome shooters on the PC.

Loved the first metal gear solid but I couldn't stand the useless drivel of 2-4 and I just cant understand how people get such extreme hardons for those games.
