What's your favorite Video game Series?

I like sonic and the house of the dead series. I couldnt find any other sega games.

Gunstar heroes (technically a series because of Gaurdian Heroes for the Saturn)
Ecco the Dolphin (Some pretty good games, they confuse me though)
and Shining Force (RPG Series that started on the Mega Drvie/Genesis)

Meh, I like sega's arcade games more then other games. Sega was before my time and i can't seem to find any games from sega thats older then the Sega genesis

Iunno. Probably Legend of Zelda -- 'cept they have gotten kind of weird with the newer DS releases. I've never been a huge fan of the handheld releases in the series, with the exception of Link's Awakening. Other than that... I usually really enjoy Castlevania games. And Mega Man games, to a point. Oh, and Ratchet & Clank is a lot of fun.

I always used to be crazy about the Final Fantasy series. But it has kind of gone downhill from the end of the playstation 2 era or some might even say the end of the Playstation 1 era. I'd say Gears of war is my favorite! .. But I also like Castlevania, I played symphony of the night and it was freakin Awesome!

Well, Baldur's Gate was a singularly fantastic game. In fact, I was going to join the thread to mention the series as well

Second favourite for me would go to Final Fantasy. Despite it's... less that brilliant games recently, it's still had a huge influence on me as a gamer, and I still enjoy the older games an enormous amount.

And while Robotnik is my personal top-favourite character, Sonic is by now so horribly written that I'm actually hating the bastard (Sonic, not Robotnik ). Oh well, at least Sonic Colours was a good game again, at last
