I was deceived!? Right, I want the name of the person you sold it to, or I WILL destroy you with my Death Egg! Unpowered or not!

This isn't going to work out, is it? Guess I'll just find Knuckles and tell him Sonic's trying to steal it and offer to guard it for him or something. It's worked a couple times so far, might as well try again. Be right back.

(Okay, back on-topic before this goes to off-topic )

Fox news, on balance, is in Europe one of the most famous channels simply because it's known to be so legendarily thick. We have our own moron-channels, but it's generally agreed that Fox sorta tops the list by a decently long way.

My favorite criticism on Fox news was in the episode of Family guy when Lois says, "Even the truth, once said on Fox News, is a lie." XD

I just saw a trailer and got the urge to read a yuri manga with surprise sex.

Is this what they were talking about?

Still in the parent's court to not allow them to play mature video games.

One thing I learned is that there are many different views at Fox. Many times they would argue with each other so I doubt this is the consensus of the entire Fox team. Also while their news leans more conservative in view, they do hire liberals and moderates as well. Of course, Fox isn't the only ones known for attacking videogames. Abc news did a list of 9 games that went too far http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/Gam...7750809&page=1. Rather than judge the whole news team though, I just take the article with a grain of salt and give the team the benefit of the doubt.

Also I find most of the people so against video games are older people. I've had people from both right wing and left wing overreact to my video games and anime. And that is really what causes this animosity. That and they don't understand them. Another thing is when someone is called an expert at something or they say they've done experiments on something, they usually don't know what their talking about. I've seen most news groups quote a supposed expert and either the information is obvious ex. "overeating makes you fat", or base their findings on non-empirical data ex. having a study and giving an empirical answer when the reuslts rule out one. I'm pretty sure this was the way it was for movies as well since both sides have extremists.

And then there is the fact that most parents are too lazy to even read the boxes on games. Stores usually don't sell M rated games to minors where I live and consoles themselves have gotten increasingly more parental control oriented. Just like the other thread where the mother didn't pay attention to her bank account for six months and let her son rack up $1600 on Xbox Live. Of course Bulletstorm is not for kids, that's why it says M on the box for Mature. And while the game doesn't sound like it suits me, I do play some M rated games and I absolutely will not play it in front of my 4 year old nephew or even let him play it because an M rated game is not for a 4 year old. It's the same with R rated movies and yet we don't hear too much controversy when someone gets their head shot off in one of those.

Three more days until Party time!

The section about 'Six Days in Fallujah' seemed pretty supportive of the game.

Parents can't always stop their kids though. as I said, its the same thing with getting it, if a kid wants to do it or play it, they are going to regardless of what you do. The only reasons its like that is because people can't hit their kids to discipline them anymore. So that still doesn't fly.

Finally another advocate of hitting the kids when they fuck up. I thought I was the only one that cared enough to give the gift of a belt.

Bad parents let bad kids play bad games.

The only reason to buy a mature game is because it is a good game.

A great parent would just buy a better game, that isn't mature.

If there aren't any games that are better than bulletstorm that aren't mature, then yes, i suppose it would be a games industry problem.

Man you just don't get it. If a kid or a teen wants drugs, they will get it, if a kid or teen wants alcohol, they will get it, and if a kid or teen wants a game, they can obtain it. Its not a matter of parenting because kids and teens will figure out how to bypass you or the "parent" in this case. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying leaving it solely to the parent is wrong because parents can't always stop it. If a 14 year old girls going to have sex shes going to do it regardless and you know that as much as I do.

Back in those days teens and kids didn't think they were invincible and "humane" idiots didn't blame everything on bad parenting. Some kids are just unreachable though. If my kids were to ever smoke dope or drink alcohol I'd kill em without a second thought =/

Which is why you tell your kids why they shouldn't have sex or do drugs, or play violent video games.

Doesn't matter what you do, they'll do it anyway if they want to.

    Then, you kill them~
