Actually, it would be a little more fun, at the moment. I really want to take out the last two bosses, but at the same time, I have lots of collecting to do. Except collecting is extremely boring. If I had a normal save feature, I'd make a save, make a dash for the end and then, being satisfied with having finished my first round of Demon's Souls, reload and then grab everything I need to grab before starting NG+.

The game doesn't end until you do something after you take out all of the bosses. The final area more or less screams "if you walk through this "door", there's no turning back". And there's a nice little stone that lets you go back to the nexus fairly close to that point as I recall.

As far as the NG+ stockpiling, it's not that necessary to do too much. All your tendencies (aside from character tendency) go back to defaults when NG+ starts, making it pretty easy to either shift it to PD or PW and grab the items the second time through. Provided you have a good enough setup to actually complete the game, you're fairly well covered to do the second runthrough. And since you're familiar with the layout of the game, it shouldn't be any harder to grab the items the second time around. The huge jump in enemy strength aside.

I only have the 1-4 fight left, then whatever goes on after that. The trouble is I would really like to go through the final "door," but for some reason I'm also hesitant to do so.

At the very least, I'll check the DS wiki and make sure I've gotten all the lizards. I'd like to do all the weapons upgrades, but I'd rather get smacked around by 10 more bosses than do 10 trophies or so worth of farming.

I've more or less gotten everything that can just be picked up, so I'd rather farm what I need when the enemies aren't dealing out one hit kills and such. We'll see. I will most likely just decide to continue, and may or may not actually finish all the weapons upgrading.
