Also, keep in mind there's still the new game+. Where the game gets HARDER. Just because it's not done being a dick quite yet. Plus depending on which ending you get you could have more souls than you know what to do with. And if you get the *other* ending, you get a skill that allows you to stockpile hilarious amounts of souls provided you don't mind getting within punching distance of enemies that can kill you in one hit.

(There is no perfect build. My character is a mage that has a taste for dual wielding the heaviest weapon in the game. As long as you can pull it off, there is no perfect stat distribution. )
Well, I have it at the very least. And the fight was, well, interesting.

I don't know how far I'll take the NG+, NG++, NG+++ thing. I suppose it depends on how I'm feeling after I eventually finish plain old NG. At the moment, I'm really enjoying it, and it's really not as tough as everyone makes it out to be. I'm by no means amazing at it, and there are plenty of boss fights I can't quite handle right now, but as long as you're not a complete idiot, you should be able to make progress.

I don't like two handed weapons in just about any game, the only time I've used one at all in DS was to break some debris in the Dragon God area. My focus is mostly on magic, but I also prefer for her to have some melee ability as well, just in case.

And Bulbasaur's tentacle vines would be the perfect thing for replicating some GET OVER HERE action.

Wow, I just remembered where I spent almost my entire time outside of classes like 8 months ago. The PS3 consumes my life.

Maybe this is a bad idea... I almost got the notion this morning to sit in bed and play PS3 instead of classes. It's only gonna get worse.

It really isn't. And that's why it's the best kind of difficult.

They can be surprisingly useful when dealing with shield carrying enemies and anything large. The single handed weapons lack sufficient heft to really pay the heavy blows on certain opponents. Opponents that really require that sort of thing. Flamelurker takes forever with one handed weapons. With a 2H weapon? You can bat him around the room like a giant flaming baseball.

Indeed. I really hate high difficulties that are being ridiculous just because it can. I don't know how you people even handle one LP on the hardest difficulty ever, much less EVERY LP on the hardest difficulty.

Flamelurker is the 2-2 boss, right? I definitely didn't use any melee on him at all. And I kind of felt bad for all the white phantoms I saw running around, trying to hit something with their swords, and getting smacked around instead.

Also, darn you, Ivolt. I have to remove part of this audio. Meaning I have to hope the video is still on the desktop. And compress it. Again. This is all your fault.

First we shall tame chihuahuas, then on to Irish wolfhounds.

As long as my childhood rival doesn't find a fire-breathing dog, then repeatedly insist that we battle in entirely predictable ambush locations, we should be alright.

How have you yet to be punched in the fuckbag?

Tell me in detail, I'd like not to make the mistakes of the forebearers that should have resolved this years ago.

Anyway, I have things to do today and such. I may or may not pop in a little later.
