That's actually what I'm drinking at the moment. I already had the vanilla bottle open, but I'd had the unopened rasberry one sitting in there for a few months and felt like something different.

Besides, my usual drink is Southwark stout. I don't think my manliness is in question.

From personal experience, booze and writing go together really badly once you get beyond about 4 or 5 standard drinks.

Sure, it looks great while you're writing it. But then you sober up and have to spend twice as long editing as you did actually writing in the first place.
