Um... Post-apocalyptic world. You're a demon, and can recruit the monsters you fight as allies. You can fuse and merge those monsters into new ones, ala Pokemon (But like...a really creepy Pokemon). The battle system is standard turn-based with a few very neat quirks, and an emphasis on elemental strengths and weaknesses (Like a huge emphasis. Pay attention or you will die. ). You're basically exploring the new world into which you've been (re)born. The story is nice, but a bit hands-off in places. The music is awesome, but unconventional to the max. The graphics aren't exceptional, but the art style is, and the whole game looks unbelievably cool as a result.

It rocks, in short. But it's brutal. And unforgiving. And certainly not for everyone. For 6 quid, though? Sure~
