I found Xenosaga II online a year ago for about ten quid, I think? It was from a US site, but it only ended up being about 14 including shipping. So I can't imagine it's too expensive. And the first one came out so long ago that I think the only problem would be finding it.

Unfortunately it's a little narrative-light compared to many J-RPGs. Like almost all the Megami Tensei games. And it's also brutally difficult in places. Like almost all the Megami Tensei games.

In short, it's MegaTen. You either like it or you don't. I loved it, though. I'd buy it if I could find a copy for cheap...
