    Assuming, of course, that the treadmill is imparting the same or greater net force to the vehicle proper as the engine is. Rotating wheels on the landing gear, for instance.

    Jet plane? That's the basis of the myth. A prop will create some small amount of airflow.

    and culise, th myth states that the treadmill can match the speed of the engine
