I have a GeForce 7900 something. Can't remember what details I played at but far from everything set to max. I wanted the game to look pretty instead of having just a high polygon count so I tried to max special effects and pre-processing stuff. It looked really good in the end.

Played at 1024x768.

I think if i had 1gb ram i could probably run it at low-medium @ 1024x768

Probably. My computer can't display a resolution beyond 1280x1024 so that's what I usually use. But I kinda new Gears would run like shit if I set that resolution so I never tried it actually.
