I don't know. I thought the game had little to offer (I actually liked it, but this is for the sake of argument) the first time because they had split it up. Assuming that you threw all the scenes and events into a single playthrough, it's not an especially short game. Not the longest, either, but not worryingly short. I don't know. I don't think they split up the scenes for any purpose as cynical as padding the game time. There are much easier ways to do that.
I just thought it was a strange experiment. Like the rest of the game, really.

Just read an interesting article (regarding adding internal/external memory to the psp) on another forum.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltRTrtFyqUUMy only question was, do you still have access to the UMD drive? That was quickly answered and sadly you don’t. So if you’re willing to sacrifice that, then you may add 30GB+ of storage — internally! Otherwise you can rig a similar setup externally with an iPod. Yup, an iPod "
Indeed. I'm always getting stuff from that place (thanks to you =X), and even though some of them only have one seeder, that seeder is usually able to give you all you want. Sure, it may take a few days, but that beats not getting it at all.
And even then, I could understand it. If you like a series because of its specific characteristics, seeing the next title go a completely different way can be a little disheartening. FF 12 comes to mind. A lot of people were expecting the usual, but it turned out to be more akin to Vagrant Story. Not to say that the game is bad, but for those who don't like the genre, it kinda blows.
Halo 3?
@Panda: Thankies.
It was weird, I have like half of those already.
Ivolt: I still played it twice. ( And, I managed to beat that last boss on my first go, as I recall.)
Yes, it is a great site, and we should all love crusher. <3
I messed up and saved to much in the same places. (I would save, complete an event, then go back to the last save point and save again.) I didn't even have a save anywhere near the shelter, and so I tried to finish it in one night. got to Bosch with 91% D-ratio. :\Ivolt: I still played it twice. ( And, I managed to beat that last boss on my first go, as I recall.)
Maa, I don't know. I can definitely understand the mentality behind it. I found myself kind of torn on Final Fantasy X-2 for the same reason, and I'm still not entirely sure what to make of Final Fantasy XII.But I'm able to realise that I had a lot of fun with both, and that their not being especially 'Final Fantasy-ish' doesn't make them any worse. I'm able to separate off the feeling of 'Oh, this is weird' from 'Oh, this is awful'. I might prefer that they didn't carry the name 'Final Fantasy', because a brand name does, like you said, spark off certain expectations. But I'm not about to let change stop me from enjoying anything.
Anyway, I have no problem with someone like you, who actually gave the game a chance (A more than fair chance, if you played it twice). I just hate it when people play about the first half hour of something and immediately put it aside simply because it's different. Astaroth and Final Fantasy XII come to mind.
