I'm pretty sure I read somewhere on youtube that if your account predates the time restrictions, they don't apply to you. Perhaps it has something to do with the whole "director" thing my account's assigned as, I dunno. This is the longest video I've ever bothered uploading, and it's almost a minute over the normal youtube time limit. I'll throw up a TV show episode later to test it out.

Before, If you were given the "director" title by youtube you can post videos longer than 10 minutes and more than 100mb.

Now, you can just add the title yourself under user account options, but you don't get the added benefits.
