That's nothing lol, I had a client her comp broke. She brought it at some competitor who told her everything had to be changed because has a socket 478 motherboard and that's what was broke apparently. We still had s478 boards so when she came we told her we could repair it if it was that.
The competitor told her she'd need a board, a cpu, new memory, a video card, a power supply because her wasn't 24pin and while at it a hard drive. She was only keeping her DVD±RW.

I took the comp, tested her PSU with a PSU tester. Changed the PSU and everything was okay.
$55.00 for something of okay quality (not the cheapest) + $20 for installation VS $600.00. Dem fuckers.

I have that same motherboard, but this pc is great for someone who only uses it for browsing, music, old games . I'm thinking that maybe I'll get a new computer, but that will be in about four or more years, other than games, I don't think I'll need something else than another gb of ram and a bigger HDD.
