Finally got in touch with the guy down the road with the wireless internet receiver. It was indeed wireless internet, but he said it is supposed to be as fast as satellite. He didn't give any numbers or anything and didn't seem to know much about it. Guess it's time to get in touch with the provider who happens to be the cousin of a friend/neighbor of mine. He knows I am looking for some sort of better internet service, so I wonder why he didn't tell me.

Well, that's the thing. The guy that is actually running this little operation lives very very close to the area where the cable lines stop. So either he had it extended a bit, like 50ft, or he is running it off of a satellite. I don't know how he could possibly hope to provide quality internet to dozens of people by using a satellite. The download limitations and what not are way to small and very strict.

Time to go to class and learn nothing. If it wasn't for the extreme absence policy I would just email him the homework and go in for tests. I don't need to review what I already learned in my first 2 years of high school.
