Holy fucking shit are PS2 accessories expensive. $18 for a used third party memory card and $20 for a controller. I opted to get a third party "gamestop" brand controller for $13, and it feels like crap and has the design and quality of a 99 cent plastic watergun, but it works.

My only games right now are Resident Evil: Outbreak #2 and Silent Hill 3. I feel like mentioning now that the concept of a zombie elephant is pretty bullshit. It's not even a carnivore.
As I was walking down the stair,
    I met a man who wasn't there.
    He wasn't there again today.
    I wish, I wish he'd go away.

Not all, but then you're a console gamer...

You talking about PE 2 or did I miss something in RE or SH?

RE Outbreak File # 2 has a Zombie elephant.
It makes perfect sense to me however, as it's shown near all living things can become zombies in the RE universe.

    Oh Lord.

Your story makes me want to shove uranium up my bum for a few days, until I'm sterile.

I know, I could just put it in my pocket, but where's the fun in that?

I'm not so sure it was a zombie, though.
I guess a better way to say it would be to say that almost all living things can be affected by the T/G/whatever strain of virus it's called now.

It'd make a hell of a made for TV movie, wouldn't it?

(but seriously, there are plenty of non-linear RPGs on the PC. The Elder Scroll series, Fallout, and pretty much all MMOs for starters. )

Not only just in the game, but the first goddamn section. You see maybe one zombie before, boom, ZOMBIE ELEPHANT ATTACK.
And just because something can be undead doesn't mean it makes sense for it to crave human flesh to the point where it'll chase them all over a large area, bust through walls, and be impossible to shake.
Of course, the whole elephant enemy thing in general is pretty ridiculous to fight, and of course it doesn't attack anything else but the PCs except in its intro cutscene.
That's another thing about RE games that annoys me, how you'll see zombie creatures attack other zombie creatures in cutscenes but they're always completely friendly ingame. In RE3 you're introduced to a hunter by it decapitating a zombie, and the Outbreak elephant attacks two zombies eating a Rhino (I don't want to even attempt pondering how slow shuffling weak zombies can kill a rhino )

There are plant zombies in Resident Evil, called "Ivies". They spit poison.
