it does wear thin after a while. literally running from one side of the city to the other to do missions or complete objectives gets tiresome. the only other real complaint I have about the game is it's durability system, you can only repair an item so many times before it's useless which does make sense for some items like wooden planks or pipes really anything that's hollow or wooden but it doesn't make sense for solid metal objects like pipe wrenches or hammers. there's also no durability on ranged weapons which also seems kinda wrong.
combat tends to get kinda boring too after a while especially when dealing with runners(at least that's what I call them) zombies aren't supposed to be able to climb or jump but runners can and they're fucking annoying because they'll chase you and hit harder than normal zombies and can dodge.
