I've been hearing Crimson Shroud (latest Matsuno game) is pretty good. It's a download-only title though, so keep that in mind.

Also have you played 999 on the DS? If so it has a sequel on 3DS called 極限脱出ADV 善人シボウデス (localized as Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward).
