Erm, that's actually a reasonable method of archery. It's not practiced in formal stuff and modern bows are typically designed to be fired upright, but sidways firing was practiced a decent amount with shortbows and some varieties of longbow. Ironically to this article, it was also the best method while on horseback, since it's hard as hell to get enough vertical space without fucking up your shot or taking way too long.
I also like how this one brief shot is proof the game is linear, set in the daytime, and absolutely horrible. It's not like the light gem might disappear when not in use to keep the hud smaller, amirite?![]()
