:lol tanthias I suggest you look up some information on how archeology works and what kind of evidence they can find. :P You seem to be thinking of evidence as footsteps, traces in the sand. That's not what they look for. Humans have a tendancy to eat, shit, die, start fires, make and break stuff, and generally change their environments as much as possible. Point taken, however, evidence of that nature can be buried, taken with them, ect. And before you say something else, I realize that not all the evidence can be erased, but did you ever think that maybe evidence was found, and just not recognized for what it truly was?

Archaeologists, especially Christian ones, have been looking for evidence of the exodus for over a century now. If there was even the slightest result from their labours, they'd still be crowing about it.

How so? Someone is killing someone else either way. Punishment doesn't factor into it. Unless you're saying that being gay is a crime.

You yourself in this very thread said the only way to eliminate doubt and unclear sentiments about the bible is to take everything literally, at face value. That passage specifically states "No one". It also says "testicles crushes" and "male organ cut off." A castrato has his testicals cut off or the tubes connecting his testicles severed. They don't crush his balls, and they certainly don't cut off his dick. He most likely would never survive either.

True, but perhaps there are desert towns built on or around where the exodus took place. I can't really see archaeologists trying to force an entire town to vacate just so they can search for evidence. Even if they did try, I honestly can't imagine even a small village complying without a fight.
