I've only had diabetes for two years and as you probably now, the cause of diabetes is unknown. And even if I had been a sugar gulping fat machine, there is no proof that sugar actually is something that causes diabates. Might also be worth to mention that my dad also is a diabetic. As for my blood pressure, only have had it for a year. It's pretty likely to be a hereditary diseases. Many of my relatives also have high blood pressure.

Diets used to be strict when you are a diabetic. But nowadays you are just given a few simple guidelines. At least in Sweden... I'm eating about the same stuff I did before I got the curse. Except slightly more green stuff.

You know, me having a high blood pressure wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't because of my diabetes. That combination could be fatal for me, later on. Kinda sucks but hey, I'm taking my pills.

Make a ghost image of a clean install with your Windows updates, AV etc and a few small programs. If you have to re-install, use the Ghost backup, it takes about 10-15 minutes to have your pc back up and running.
