Yeah. I got a bereavement day from work (paid without using personal time), so that's ok. But I have a list of better ways to spend a day off.

And, the hotel we e-reserved was shit. They apparently turn the heat up full blast when empty, so it was so freaking hot we couldn't stay. We tried 3 other rooms, and they were all the same. So, we cancelled that and went to a Days Inn. It was better, but not quite as cleas as I would have liked.

We finally got in bed at 2 AM, and had to get up at 7.

I'm not trying to be insensitive or anything but...at least it's all over. For some reason I can't sleep at hotels, either the bed is too hard, I'm cold, it's freaking hot or add any weird reason. I prefer sleeping in the couch of the lobby, though. :P

You're not insensitive at all. I'm glad it's over and I'm glad to be back home.

Yeah, hotel beds suck. They are always stiff as a board, and the pillows are flat. I only slept so well because I was dead tired. My bed is gonna feel pretty damn good tonight.
