I actually get really good speeds in PCSX2 and Dolphin, more often than not it runs at full speed. But there's always that game or two that gives me slowdowns.

I don't get people who'd upgrade only for emulation. I upgraded a few years ago because it was long overdue and I play games on PC. My PC just happened to be powerful enough for emulation, it's not like that was the original goal. :wacko:

My uncle already wants to upgrade the PC I built him about 9 months ago.

i5 dual core, 4GB DDR3 RAM, Sapphire 1GB 5770.

All because he downgraded back to Windows XP x86 because Windows 7 x64 is "shit" :rolleyes: So his games are now bottlenecked by DX9/3.5GB total memory. :dread:
