I've just resolved myself to being an English only speaker for the rest of my life.

At least the US and Canada are big enough that I can do some serious traveling without needing a new language. :wacko:

Hell, I ended up speaking mostly English when I was in Germany and Italy, too. We were mostly on the tourist track anyway, and no on seemed interested in speaking German with me. I wasn't that terrible! D:

But I have an English boyfriend who can do all the talking. I have no advantages in Australia. And as cute as the wildlife can be I'm not terribly interested in visiting a place that gets to be 40+ Celsius. :wacko:
