What to play. What to play. :bored:
Welp I got on the backburner:
On the lappy I have:
Monkey Island HD or whatever it's called.
Forces of Corruption with a neat modded single player map that's halfway done
Never Winter Nights which I've never actually gotten that far in before downloading right now
Thinking maybe RE4 or one of the previous.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein that's been sitting there untouched for years.
Grabbed a couple of really old pc games the other day like Maniac Mansion etc..
PS3:
Read Dead Redemption
Infamous 2
Grinding in Demon Souls :ugh:
SSF4AE which I might play for a few while I think about what to really play.
Payday the Heist.
Cod MW2 which I could attempt to grab a few trophies in maybe.
A bunch of Indie games that I should really try but I just can never get into them.
Quite a few and quite a few more but that's as far as I've narrowed it so far.
Neverwinter Nights is pretty sweet. Some really good custom modules.
Or I could just sit here and click new posts for the next 2 hours :P
Spoiler warning:
sigh.fuck it. There's nothing to do.
New phone came today.
IT'S HEUGE
o_O
Guess I scared everyone off!
Still got it!!!
@GoB yeah but mine are better :ignore:
:P
Also I've still yet to pick a game to play :(
Broken.
It had a couple of almost game breaking bugs in it but I hear they've been dealt with by now with the patches/updates so that's good. And it had no multiplayer at the time either. I "grabbed" it the day it came out.
The enhanced features really aren't all that much to write home about. I suppose it's nice to play in a higher resolution and to be able to zoom in and out albeit not by much which of course are handled in the mods for the original anyways and it's nice not having the level cap and having most of the changes made in BG2 thrown in like spells and shit (I think) which you can mod once again in the original anyhow. I kept one of the new characters throughout the game (when I got him) and was really well done but overpowered (the half-orc dude, can't remember his name) The entire game takes up much less space which probably isn't much of a concern for most people but it is for me and I found that nice. And the little extra game/expansion thingy they added was absolutely horrid. Still it's Baldurs Gate which in any form simply wins ;)
And I'm still an advocate of an EP playthrough again sometime since I missed out on the last one when I lost my net at the time not long before they started :(
If you already have a fully modded original it's prolly best to stick with that, I wouldn't be surprised if someone has modded that to include the new characters and side quests for them by now anyways. And I do believe a bunch of the mods for the original will still work with it you just have to research that a tad - I know a couple won't work but can't remember any of the details.
I picked it up about a month after it's release, and didn't have any issues with it at all. Multiplayer worked, and it actually was cross-platform too (ipad/pc). Same as you, I picked up that Orc dude, can't remember his name either, and held on to him for the whole game. He was pretty good. I also picked up a girl too - a wild wizard - who wasn't bad, but she was pretty sporadic with her casting so I had to let her go eventually.
ugh. I can't eat heavy foods anymore.
Yeah it was buggy as hell the first day. I picked up that Monk dude in....Nashkel? just to have a look at him and then dumped him. Everytime after whenever I entered that area which you have to a few times the scripting for him asking if your sure you wanna release or some such thing popped up every 2 seconds. More annoying than Noober or Neeber or whatever.
Dammit I could talk about those games all day.
I should stop now :P
Yeah, I have an ulcer, so everything tasty is forbidden. I don't know for how long. I probably have to go to a GI doctor and get scoped. I'm not looking forward to that.
Haha, I avoided that guy altogether. If memory serves he pretty much assaults you as soon as you walk into Nashkel - I hated him from the start.
I didn't know that you could transfer your character from this to BG2 - I've actually never played BG2.... Is it worth it?
Yep,it sucks BIG time.
