Ahhh, haven't played it much. Just... I think a few minutes in the forest in the beginning. Looked good.

The PS2 one? Or the PSX one? Both start in forests, so... The PSX one is just Tales of Eternia that had its name changed to avoid copyright infringement on He-Man. The PS2 one is an actual sequel to Tales of Destiny, but is yet to have been released outside of Japan.

And...eh...it's okay. The battle system is fun near the start, but later on it gets kind of lame, as magicians are way overpowered, and about the only way to really kill the more difficult opponents. The story is kind of interesting for its ties back to the first game, though.

I looked up the Gabriel Celeste battle from Star Ocean II in response...and wish I hadn't. I forgot how vile the voices in that game were. ;.; Like...seriously...my ears. =(

Back when I played the game, when it came out in fact, I didn't know about the whole secret dungeons and battles. Would have loved to kick butts in there, battling end bosses at every corner.
