Its simplified drawing in a good way non-filler style.

It's meant to make characters to move smoothly and make the fight look different and more or less feel different from the standard ones.

They pushed more into the frames then the normal actions.

i know, i actually felt that drawing them younger made them the fight that more insane.

Damn , Kankuro looks more pathetic than he already is , and this episode made Chiyo a better puppet master than Sasori even if by mistake , anyone else agree?

I never knew puppets were this cool.

Chiyo is a better puppet master, she taught sasori...

also, puppets are only cool when used to kill people!

no they looked way younger than normal.

look at the chuunin exams and the naruto/sasuke fight and youll know exactly what i mean

i think sasuke looked like he was 8...

and naruto was a pancake, vertical style...

Mmmyeah. I didn't like the animation when they fought on the water. Very wierd. Well, I mean, the animation itself was good, but they looked very strange to me. They looked short and husky.

Their strikes and movements were animated well, and smoothly. But their appearance, was odd.

Um wrong very wrong, theyve used this style before, the S-Rank with Jiraiya there was one episode drawn like that, Sasuke fighting against Orochimaru in the forest of Death was the same style, they use to to make certain moves look more realistic.

Yup yup. I remember that same style used during Sasuke's fight against Orochimaru in the forest. For some reason it looked better there.

That's because the animation was handled by a different studio than the usual. Details are sacrificed in favor of more frames which gives the characters a deformed look but fluid movements; a technique not unheard of in animation.

Noein is basically made from that, sometimes movies are done by that studio aswell, One Piece movie 5 for example, or my fav anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is entirely made of that.

It gives the fighting scens an extra touch of movements.

Yeah...the puppet fights in Epi 26 were totally awesome
