Well, Naruto just out right attacked Itachi, like the moron he is. Also, I think he sensed Sasuke at the hideout. He did suddenly appear there, coincidentally when Sasuke showed up.

Ive seen a other reason why Orochimaru left, it involved Itachi's evilness

Naruto's parents are revealed through a conversation between Jiraiya and Tsunade. Turns out his mom is from the Rain Village, the same village Pein is from, and the Fourth Hohage is in fact Naruto's father. A genius at that. We finally get some background information on his dumbass.

Sasuke actually did meet up with Itachi, but didn't lose his cool. And Itachi barely noticed Sasuke attacking him from behind. Like, wow. They're headed off (potentially) to the Uchiha hideout. Me thinks that will be Itachi's final resting place. Either he'll die, or he'll let Sasuke win via Plot no Jutsu.

And Jiraiya is in the Rain Village already, and Pein noticed. Poor old perv sage is gonna get his ass handed to him.

Well, I always thought that Naruto's mother was from the rain village, or at least a place related with water, considering his name.
