Super Metroid actually took me more than 6 months since I was always lost. But when I finished it I was hooked with 2D games with a strong design... and then I proceeded to finish the original one. Ouch.
Castlevania's have been some of my favorites. Especially Super Castlevania 4.

When I had the GBA I never got the Metroid games, but recently I'm thinking about getting one along with Fusion and Zero Mission.Which is why I don't play the SNES/GBA Metroid games.
