It's kind of a pain, because, you have to pay the mortgage payments still, even if you don't have a floor or hot water or whatever. And, to pay those things, you have to have a job, on top of doing the work on the house. And you have to buy the stuff for the house. I watch my checking account dwindle, and the credit card balance stack up. But it all goes into the equity of the house, so it'll be worth it in like a month. And it's such a nice place to live in... I love how my neighbors say hi to me and I can walk pretty much anywhere I want to go.

So how's everything with you?

Indeed, there's a price to pay for anything, but as you've mentioned a few weeks ago, the place is in the middle of everything. If you happen to be unable/unwilling to keep it at one point, the resale value should be, given all the mods and retouching, through the roof.

Absolutely nothing new. Still looking at courses I could take or places I could work at, but seeing as I'm stuck in the suburbs and that there is virtually no bus service around here, I'm entirely too limited in my means of getting anywhere. And, it goes without saying, no job = no car. I'll stumble unto something sooner or later, though.
