Last year, the week school started, I made French fries. I forgot to turn the stove off though, so a while later I started to smell smoke. I was putting the pan in the sink when I spilled the hot oil on my leg and right index finger.
God, I was in the bathroom for 3 hours and then I just had to wrap it up and go to sleep with it burning like fuck.
I wake up next day, my finger has swollen up now so that it's twice as big as my thumb. I had to poke holes in it so that the excess water would drip out.( Though, 3 days later, it burst while I was reading books in the bookstore.)
Anyway, bout a week later, I peeled the skin off and just had it like that. I couldn't bend the finger either. we went to the hospital the next day and had it checked out, and it turns out I could have lost the finger entirely. Took bout 2-3 weeks before the skin grew back on my finger. You can hardly tell it happened now.

Fun story, no?

(all I did was kill a couple russian generals. The game musta counted every cell (or pixel ) in their bodies as an individual kill or something. Glitches are funny like that. I currently have no theories where the save count or mission timer numbers came from. )

Glitches are indeed awesome. I found one in Windows 98 some years ago. Managed to get Win98 to report a negative folder size.

I also successfully crashed Notepad some years ago. Pretty awesome if I may say so myself.
