Several episodes of people talking does not equate to a plot.

It doesn't have to be a comedy, but a joke once in a while couldn't hurt to lighten the mood between "another random nameless character that showed up 5 minutes ago just died " stuff. Although just some entertaining dialogue would work just as well. Heck even the actors sound bored 9/10's of the time from what I saw of it.
