Kakashi's MS looks pretty different from the default MS look also, yet it is an MS. The picture from the screenshot in my post is from Itachi's MS, which Sasuke's MS looks nearly identical to.

Okay I made another comparison and I'll have to say...yeah...it does look like an MS....reason being the normal sharingan NEVER touches the outer circle of the cornea. In that page no.9, the black spots did touch the outer circle....

Indeed. Now I wonder if 'that' jutsu is related to his MS. I mean, once activated, the MS doesn't automatically grant the user 3 jutsu's lol.

Nope. Though, I call BS on Deidara somehow magically being able to counter/resist genjutsu straight from a Sharingan user.

But 'that' jutsu, remember when Naruto, Sakura, and Yamato took on Sasuke? Sasuke was about to use 'that' jutsu, when he lifted his arm up into the air, but Orochimaru showed up and prevented that. He specifically called it 'that' jutsu.

I would like to see Sasuke raising his arm and try to figure out what actually he was trying to do. May be he was just going to use his Chakra manipulation technique that he used to cut Deidara's dragon's wing but I don't know....

He basically raised his arm up to do some ubor jutsu that most likely would've ended them all. Or, he might have thought of summoning some giant snake. They were still inside Orochimaru's base, so I think he stopped Sasuke from using 'that' jutsu because it may have destroyed the entire place.

Oh, I never said he USED it against Deidara. I only said MS was displayed in the image itself.

Why would he just display it without using it?
Why would he use it without mentioning it?
Or is that just a similarity.
