    Default New Plugins

Sorry if I am not allowed to ask but where can I get the latest plugins for the PSX Emulators
I'm running Vista, on a 2gig centrino duo core processor, 1gig ram, Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Controller(256ram)
    Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.76 is not working
I can hear sound but only the main menu is on display. I can hear the game running in the background(this one use to work on my xp machine with great grafix overall.
Peops Soft driver - The menus look good but grafix in game is bad
Pete's d3d driver 1.76 - The menus look bad but in game looks better and sound stutters

Must I have DirectX installed on my machine?

I don't know if you MUST have DirectX installed, but in my experience (and anybody with more experience feel free to correct me) it generally helps out quite a bit.

It is necessary to have DirectX installed, it's best to have 9.0c.

Check this thread to running ePSXe on a dual core processor.
