It's cleaner. I have my icons in a folder in the quick launch.

Eh. It's not like spending a few seconds to get icons is all that much time.

If I used a crapload of programs and such, maybe I'd leave a few around. But, since I don't, I use the start menu. Besides, I don't like having a lot of icons showing. It's indecent.

Good point. I do use a ton of programs at any given time, plus I have the FTP Admin screen open all the time, so the desktop isn't really all that visible anyway. I still have the blue flame 3x wallpaper, but I hardly ever see it.
