Dude, the point of the FPS limit is for game timing. If you run the game at say, 120 FPS, the game will run at twice the normal speed. Most console games time themselves by the FPS.
I know, but I've found out that turning the limit off is a good way to tell how much cpu is being directed to the emulator. When I disabled the limit on my previous 2.8GHz single-core processor, the cpu usage read 100%, and that's what's confusing me now.
