    Thanks, but you still suck

That's actually how I came across the Trinitron on the right.

To stop idiots from blowing the damn thing up and RMAing it saying it was DOA. The only thing that's actually useful is the RMA banks being colored so I know which channels are linked without having to look at the manual.

That's pretty much the one on the right.

From what I've seen, C2D are made for overlclocking with most reaching 3GHz with ease. Why wouldn't you want that extra performance at no extra cost?

Because that will shorten its life span

gigabyte Motherboards are great bang:buck, very solid and pretty easy to work with. Had to set all the voltages, mem. timings manually and though. Thanks SPD!

    As for games -

    Ok seriously

    call of Duty 2
    Company of Heroes
    BF2
    Half-Life 2.... again
    CS

That's all ATM, I'm going to get others installed later.

Question about dual core processors: I just recently got an upgrade like Panda Man's (but not as good ), and my cpu is 3.2GHz dual core. So I thought 2 cores would give me an advantage when emulating N64 and PSX games. But I have a question, Project 64 allows you to disable the fps limit, allowing it to emulate at your computer's best ability. So I tried that, then pulled up Task Manager (cheap way of measuring benchmarks, I know) and noticed that PJ64 was only using about 50% of my overall cpu. That seems just like 1 core to me, but I checked the performance tab and both cores had a data rate of about half on the chart.

I know some apps can "turn on" the use of both cores fully, but why can't I do that in the first place? Can I change a BIOS setting?

Dude, the point of the FPS limit is for game timing. If you run the game at say, 120 FPS, the game will run at twice the normal speed. Most console games time themselves by the FPS.
