Yes, my DVD also supports divx/xvid - and some other stuff as well which is why I don't use convertXtoDVD for my own stuff. I do however have some friends that do not have "new" DVD players. It is for them I use convertXtoDVD. Works nicely . Anyways, it will not start burning before the converstion is complete, of course, Jetset.
There are dvd players that support divx/xvid for as little as £20 now.
I have 120gb space doing nothing just waiting to be used...I know, i'll stream avi files instead of storing them on all that spare hdd space...

I probably had a big pile of DVDRs at the time.
Which I don't, now.
Sure I like all my games on discs, but emulators and ROMs I'd store on the hard drive.
