I think the reason I'm getting through it so quick is the speed-up function in VBA. I have it set to the right trigger on my controller, and it's usually always pressed down.

I had the second one. It was fucking great. Got up to the Doom Dragon. I never beat it after countless tries. The cart has since been lost. :\

I've only completed the first one.
I've not completed the second, actually I've not even played it.
Emulators don't do it for me, not for handhelds, the screen's too big and distorts it too much.
