Eh. It's a patch file that works on XP HE/Pro SP2. It basically makes it so that you don't need to install StyleXP, but can still use the theme files anyway.

"The Universal UXTheme Patcher patches the uxtheme.dll file, which will allow you to use 3rd party (non-Microsoft created) visual styles in Windows.

Universal UXTheme Patcher supports all Windows XP+ based Operating Systems. This includes Media Center Edition, Tablet PC Edition, Server 2003 (all variations), XP Home and Pro and has full 64-bit (x64) support.

Universal UXTheme Patcher is very small, takes about 1 second to patch the system, avoids Windows File Protection and only requires a restart for the patched file to go into effect."

    Should I get:

    Neowin UXTheme Multi-Patcher v5.0
    or
    Universal UXTheme Patcher v2.1 ?

When you're done, go to customize.org to get some nice themes.

Hey Danny, for Gaim, am I supposed to download plugins seperately?

Taken from the Neowin forums, I presume?
If so, the first link leads to v5.5, which isn't said to support MCE.

Universal one says: This tool will work on any operating system based on XP (Tablet, MCE, Server 2003) including 64bit versions.

I'd go with the second one. Sorry for being vague, haven't done it in a while.
