That's probably what I'm gonna do. I successfully opened it up and checked so the soldering hadn't come loose. Everything looks fine so I'm gonna check with a voltage meter and see if it's OK. If not, battery change. Otherwise I dunno what to do... ~__~

Otherwise, buy an M3 flashcart that takes both GBA and DS roms, and can be used in both GBA and DS systems

I saw one on Ebay a good while back that had replaceable batteries. It was like a cover you could open and just replace the battery...not that this is any help to you.
