I actually kind of liked the game, mostly because it was so easy to exploit.
All ultimate weapons before the end of disc 1? Level 100 before fire cavern? One hit kills on everything up until disc 4?

Yes. It's all numbers and crap. Bigger numbers win. Until you start travelling a lot in disc 3, then you get some fancy new rules. But they're easy enough to figure out.
